Paying your contractor

During the Atlanta pilot, you pay your contractor directly when the work is done, using whatever method you agree on, such as cash, check or a payment app.

HandyHome does not hold, process or escrow job payments, so we can’t reverse a payment or issue a refund. Agree on the price and what it includes in writing (your messages count) before work starts.

Tips

• Avoid paying the full amount up front for large jobs; agree on a deposit and the rest on completion
• Keep receipts and your message history
• Leave a review after the job so other homeowners benefit
